This half term we are learning about rainforests. Encourage your children to do their own research to find out where they are, what you would find there, why we need them etc.

This week in numeracy we have been revising number bonds to 10 and we have been adding 3 1-digit numbers. The maths homework this week supports this, so please encourage your children to complete it.
 
This week we have been looking at traditional stories and their features. We have read The Tiger Child and How Rabbit Stole the Fire (ask the children what these are about). We will continue this next week by looking at The Three Little Pigs and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. Our Big Write next Friday will be a news report about the Three Little Pigs, please talk to the children about the story and the features of a news report.
